The Conspiracy of Survival

Do you believe in the conspiracy of survival? Yeah, me neither. They say we receive those things we believe in, and I certainly don’t want any part of what has tried to become reality in 2013. Conspiracy or not, I’d much rather invest my hope in a cure; my energy into finding that antidote and sharing it with mankind.

To conspiracy theorists, this sort of thinking is irrational. I, on the other hand, prefer to call it “thinking outside the box.” For independent thought promotes a greater understanding of logic: An awareness that regardless of a system with hardwired rules, sh!t happens. This very idea proves that outside force is not only possible, but necessary.

Allow me to tell you a story: A faithful account of both case and conspiracy; challenge and triumph. A certain child was born to a primitive city. According to statistical data, he was destined for failure. What should have been his epilogue was penned by the hands of conspirators; noblemen who, from the highest mountains, play chess with the lives of those beneath them.

But rather than subscribing to this dogma or challenging its credibility, the child grew into a man, and chose a higher route than the one that lied before him. Somehow he’d trample the ills of society; the dungeons of class and discrimination. His future was shaped by his perseverance, proving to the establishment that sh!t happens.

Let the predator ponder the conspiracy of survival. Success is more than an abstraction of personal desire; it’s necessary. Purpose is when the underdog rises above the odds, proving that no oppressor or opposition has ever been the author of one’s ultimate narrative.
